City Mire

The real urban mire could be found in Riga Old Town at the cross of three streets: Kalēju iela, Minsterejas iela and Kungu iela.
For many years here is the same picture. Nothing has been changed, and seems that it's not going to be.
The water is here, because many years ago here was the course of Ridzene river, the famous river which after Riga City was named.

Was? The river's course has been diverted? Looks like it can be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Not good.
That's a building that should be used for something not just left to rot.
