Freedom of Choice
Today is Friday, so why not just take a seat on freedom street right in front of hotel Latvia and have some smoke and drink with old buddy?
Sometimes when I see such "free from everything" people, I get really curious - what do they have in their minds?

I can only imagine that all they think about is their next; drink, smoke, meal and where they will sleep next. I do not think they care about anything else.
The question is not what they have in their minds, but what they don't have in their pockets. Of course it's not a good scene to be appreciated, but poverty is everywhere, after some closed doors, anyone can become against society rules. Wild life in modern society can produce a extreme stress, all of it associated with lack of food and bad health condition, and much alcohol (some times even drugs), can turn a person into a delinquent. They are not guilty, they are the victims, even if they act or behave like problem persons, they are not the problem. Our societies must pay attention in what is through the apparent and extern, what is inside, the core question of it all.
i would think these men were begging, since the crutch is very obvious. But they may well be 'out of it' on drugs or alcohol.

where is the Hotel management and the Riga Police and the Latvian social welfare system?
what do they have on their minds???

What say? They think just how to live hour by hour;)Tomorrow? We will see! They choose that life,To be free from this crazy society that doesn't offer anythings for survive.So if u are weak and lost, this is almost our future! They dont count if someone of them die,isn't it? They are the bad face of our mirrow!
In Belgium we see the same problems, it's like freedom but this people have always money for sigarets en alcols, this is not the fashion to have a bed and food, it's the true that some people have to mutch problems and not a family to share love, give fruits, a bottle wather but not money, thats not the solution!

Hehe - good question:
Hotel Management prob cant be bothered anymore - there are too many people like that + its Democracy, they got freedom to sit anywhere they want - cant really do anything about that. :)
Police - gov. spending on police got cut down so hard that they will not be bothered with such a small issue.
Social welfare system - um... recession and social system is on the verge of collapse...
