Aptieka 1 is the largest pharmacy chain in Riga and in Latvia.
This particular drug store is located in a interesting eclectic building in Sarkandaudava.
Could anybody tell what does the letters АФ on the top mean? Thanks :)

Скорее всего, владелец здания - вензель ставят, как правило, честь строителя-владельца. Но! Александра Федоровна, жена Николая Второго (расстреляна в 1918 с мужем) прибыла в Ригу как раз в 1890 году, во время первой поездки по России. может быть, в её честь?

Alpha and Omega as in the comment above, usually is interpreted as 'I am the beginning and the end', here it seems to say that the house was built in one calendar year.
