A lovely sunny day in the winter is the perfect opportunity to improve your cross-skiing skills in Victory Park. Hundreds of semi-pro, amateurs and children are skiing for fun from dawn till dusk.

Coming back from Vilnius to Riga I see a huge progress of new developments around the city, including this new overpass next to Z-Towers, between Zunda river and Martin Cemetery and over Daugavgrivas iela.

Regular divine services are in Latvian and Polish languages.
Latvijas Valsts vēstures arhīvs (Latvian State Historical Archives) is located in a massive building at intersection of Slokas street and Kalnciema street since 1930. The building itself was built in 1908 as city pawnshop, hence it has such a huge size.
