Meteora dārzs is a garden of former Gum Factory Meteor in Agenskalns.
Currently it is planned to expand this green area and build a park devoted to Riga's twin city Kobe in Japan.
Tokyo City is one of the best Sushi bars in Riga. It is open since Summer 2010 and still has attractive low prices. Restaurant is located in the very center, on Krisjana Barona street, in place where Palazzo Italia shop used to be. (Un)fortunately Tokyo city is also smokers-friendly place.
Samurajs (Samurai) is one of the many sushi bars in Riga. This particular one is famous for being radiatively cheap sushi place in Old Town. It is located on Kungu iela.
Uzbekistan Airlines is the only airline which perform transatlantic flights from Riga Airport. The plane with the blue hood makes flights Tashkent - Riga - New York - Riga - Tashkent 3 times per week. Basically it makes New York JFK airport just 10 hours away from Riga. Not that far from the capital of the world, isn't? :)
