Morkovka

Morkovka
Morkovka (carrot) is colloquial name for shopping center located on the crossroads of Ilukstes & Deglava streets.
It was built in the end of 1980s and painted in absolutely irregular color for Soviet times - the orange one.
Nowadays the whole area around this building is called Morkovka, although it is not so orange as before.
Morkovka is also kind of nightlife center. Some main residents of the building are Enigma nightclub, Fortuna casino and Deli cafe.

Passenger Trains Depot

Depot of passenger trains
Depot of Passenger trains in Riga. All passenger train cars in Latvia are painted in orange color, which makes them different wherever they go. In fact, they go only to Russia, Belarus and Ukraine because of Russian gauge.
Latvia is not connected directly to Western Europe by railway.
