Temporary Riga photos are being published not in a regular manner due to blog author has moved to Vilnius.
Olaine is a small (~13000 inhabitants) and
young satellite town, which is located 10km Southwards from Riga.
Olaine could be translated from Latvian to English as Egg-ish :)

Roja, a small fisherman town in Kurzeme, has the entrance road sign very similar to the one, which is in
Riga.

Zirdzene is a small lake in Kleisti named after a wild plane
Angelica, which is very common in Latvia.
The sign warns that walking dogs is forbidden and the fine is 250 LVL (500 USD), which is very high for Latvia.
