You will never find any other advertisement in the world written in both Latvian and Lithuanian languages except this one, which is located 500 meters away from Latvian-Lithuanian border on Lithuania's side of Via Baltica road.
For a while I couldn't decide where to publish this photo on
Riga blog or on
Vilnius Photos blog.

Traveling around the world I have noticed that
advertisement in Latvia is always at much higher level than in any other country. For example, Latvian marketers can easily shake the whole world with
fake Meteorite :)
Social and health problems are also often being solved with creative ads. Now it is time to fight
Hepatitis or
hepatits. The writing at bicycle says "
Don't eat everything you meet"
Have you seen that old yellow bikes? There are plenty of them in town.

	 Храм Преображения Господня
Храм Преображения Господня or
Kristus apskaidrošanas pareizticīgo baznīca (
Orthodox Church of Transfiguration) is located on the border between Sarkandaugava and Mezaparks neighbourhoods.
Church of Transfiguration was built in 1890 in the place of former multi-religious church for Catholics (moved to
King's Church in 1942), Lutherans (moved to
Trinity church) and Orthodox (stayed here).

I guess
Black Cats House is one the few Riga sights, which still have not been presented on
Riga Daily Photo.
The urban legend says that initially
Black Cats were installed like they were sh*tting on the
Great Guild, the building which is just across the street. Then the guild elders forced owner of this yellow building to turn the cats.
Also, here is a famous place called
Melnais Kakis.
Dear Anonymous, I have been coming to this house many times during the past month in order to catch better picture and better light, but this is maximum, what I could take with my camera.

The full name of this church in is
Александро-Невская правосланая церковь in Russian or
Sv. Ņevas Aleksandra pareizticīgo baznīca in Latvian, which in English means
Alexander Nevsky Church.
It was built in 1825 on
Brivibas street (at that time
Petersburg road)
This photo published as part of city's theme day, which is
Yellow.
