Centra Nams (
Centre House) is located, obvisously, in the very center of Riga, in historical area of Citadel.
It was built in 2005 as the first premium apartment building in Riga.

Latvian Patent Office located in Citadel area has a long history, which is split by Soviet times.
Initially
Patent Office was opened in 1920 and was very productive since the very first days.
Nowadays approximately 200 national inventions are being registered annually.
I hope at least one of them will make Latvia world famous one day :)

This is the former
Orthodox Church Saint Peter and Saint John, which is used as
concert hall nowadays.
It was built in 1728 in the place of the former Swedish Lutheran Church, then it got
cathedral status in 1836.
During Soviet times cathedral was closed and reopened in 1987 as concert hall.

Zemkopības ministrija (
Ministry of Agriculture) building built in 1976.
The height is 92 meters, which makes it 6th tallest building in Riga.

Rīgas Valsts tehnikums (
Riga technical school) is on of the first educational institution in the world, where it was possible to study in Latvian language.
RVT was opened in late 1919, just after
Latvian University was formed.
During Soviet times the name of this school was
Rīgas Industriālais politehnikums or just
RIP :)
RVT is located on
Krisjana Valdemara iela, next to Old Town.

Ministry of Agriculture building is in TOP 5 Riga tallest buildings.
Unfortunately, but sight place on top is closed for tourists already for the last 10 years.
