The building at 47 Brivibas st. is a remarkable example of Romantic Nationalism architecture style in Riga. It also could be named a German version of Art Nouveau or even simpler Jugendstil.
It was built in 1909 and belonged to A. Krustkalns, who was the first Riga mayor of Latvian origin since 1917.
Nowadays, many shops and companies have their headquarters in this building, one of them is Baltic Expert, a real estate company.
