Revolution Monument
Very few Russian Monuments remained in Riga since USSR collapse. One of them located on the right embankment between Stone and Railway bridges.
It is devoted to Russian Revolution of 1905 against the Czar (Russian King or Emperor) rule.
This monument depicts two real men trying to keep flag flying despite difficulties and wounds they got.

Can that really be called a revolution, though? It could be called an attempt, yes, but the changes brought on by it, namely the Duma, did not last long and the real revolution only came around in 1917.
a lot of changes in goverment happened after those events in 1905-1907.
So, it is kind of revolution :)

I do not remember so detailed :(
But I know that here, in Riga were some strikes, as everywhere else in the country.
Riga at that time was part of Russian Empire.
Main events were held in St. Petersburg
