very nice architecture. a stand out!
What I've seen of Riga is only in photos, but based on those it's a beautiful place. It's also home to two former -- and well loved -- players for the NHL Carolina Hurricanes. Defenseman Sandis Ozolinsh played here for a while in the 2000-2001 season, but the hands-down fan favorite had to be goaltender Arturs Irbe who backstopped the Hurricanes to the Eastern Conference Championship in 2002. Both of them are gone now, but well remembered in Raleigh.
That's a beautiful shot of the church.
Great to find someone posting from Riga. I can no longer traver by air so it is important to me to see a little bit of home as it happens, I just need to find someone else who does landscape photography to make me even happier.
Your SkyWatch photo was brilliant.
