Pine
I didn't know before that Riga Pine is famous even outside of Europe. I knew that Latvian Pine tree was always exported for ship masts, but couldn't imagine that to Latin America too.

In English speaking countries it is clalled Baltic pine and used for furniture and flooring because of the fine grain of the wood and golden glow when it ages.

yes Baltic pine is my favourite, and has always been prominent in my house even before I met my big hot Latvian. Pine is a beautiful wood to work with. I guess I just like my wood like my blokes, blond with a slightly golden glow and hard with lots of character from the Baltic.
I miss you my big blond blue eyed Lat. Please come back. I promise I wont make references to Konrad Kalis again.
